Trading rules
Everything our risk engine enforces — for challenges and for funded accounts.
- 1Profit target — 10%Reach +10% to pass (each phase on the 2-Step). There is no time limit.
- 2Daily drawdown — 4%Your equity cannot fall 4% below where it started the trading day (00:00 UTC). Breaching it ends the account.
- 3Max drawdown — 6%Overall loss limit — trailing on the 1-Step, fixed on the 2-Step. Breaching it ends the account.
- 4Max loss per trade — 2%No single position may lose more than 2% of your account equity. Positions in the same instrument are combined and counted as one for this limit, so splitting a position across several orders does not raise the cap. This is also a limit on the risk you take: opening a position whose stop-loss places more than 2% of equity at risk is not permitted, and repeated oversized risk-taking is grounds for payout refusal or account review even when the loss never materializes. Size your positions and stops accordingly.
- 5Max position size — 2× accountThe total value (notional) of your positions in one instrument may not exceed 2× your account's starting balance — for example $100,000 of exposure on a $50,000 account. Splitting into several positions does not raise the cap. Additionally, every crypto instrument carries an absolute dollar cap derived from its real market liquidity (a fraction of its recent daily trading volume, refreshed regularly) — on thin instruments this cap is lower than 2× account and applies instead. It keeps position sizes to what the live market could actually absorb; majors like BTC and ETH are unaffected in practice. This cap applies on the web platform, where an oversized order is rejected at placement. It does not apply on MT5, where the broker's own maximum per order applies instead; the 2% max-loss-per-trade rule applies on both platforms. How to size on the web platform: max units = (2 × starting balance − value of your open positions in that instrument) ÷ current price, rounded down to the platform's lot step.
- 6Minimum 5 trading daysYou must place trades on at least 5 separate days before a challenge can pass.
- 7Consistency — 40%No single day may make up more than 40% of the combined total of your winning days. This does not breach the account — it just delays passing until your profit is balanced more evenly. It is measured over your current profit run: if your account drops back to breakeven, the measurement restarts from your next winning day.
- 8Mandatory stop-lossEvery position must have a stop-loss set within 5 minutes of opening, and never close a position before a stop-loss is in place. Either one breaches the account. A stop-loss is a trigger for a market execution: it fills at the best available market conditions, and on thin instruments the fill can differ from the trigger price.
- 9How stops and targets fillPositions open and close at the platform's bid and ask, not at the chart's last price: a long exits at the bid and a short at the ask. The spread depends on the instrument — tightest on BTC, ETH and gold, wider on low-liquidity coins. A stop-loss or take-profit triggers when the exit price reaches your level and holds it on two consecutive price updates, so a single print that only touches the line on the chart may not fill. If you want a long's target to fill when the chart touches a level, place it slightly below that level (about half the spread); the same applies in reverse for shorts. Market orders, manual closes and triggered stop-losses also incur realistic market-impact slippage: the fill moves against you in proportion to your order's share of the instrument's recent daily trading volume (capped at 1%). On liquid majors this is a fraction of a basis point — effectively zero; it only becomes noticeable on large orders in thin instruments. Resting limit orders and take-profits fill at their level without impact.
- 10No trading around high-impact newsNo open positions within 5 minutes before or after a high-impact event — including positions opened earlier and held into the window. The window OPENS five minutes BEFORE the release, not at it: for a 13:30 event it runs from 13:25:00 to 13:35:00, so you must already be flat by 13:24:59. Closing a position at 13:25 is inside the window, not clear of it. A pending order may sit through a window safely, but if it EXECUTES inside it the resulting position counts exactly as if you had opened the trade then. Breaching it ends the account automatically. The calendar is in your portal.
- 11No automated or high-frequency tradingExpert Advisors (EAs), trading bots, and trade copiers are not permitted — all trading must be done manually by you. Normal scalping is allowed. High-frequency behaviour is not: an account where the bulk of positions are held for under a minute violates this rule regardless of any single trade being fine, and rapid bursts of orders may additionally be throttled or rejected by the execution engine.
- 12No VPNs or proxiesTrading through a VPN, proxy, or any IP-anonymizing service is not permitted — trade from your real connection. Every order records its IP address, and anonymized or inconsistent access patterns (for example trading IPs from multiple countries) can trigger an account review; a payout may be declined where genuine personal access cannot be verified.
- 13No long inactivity30 consecutive days with no trade breaches the account.
- 14Leverage up to 100xYou choose your leverage on each trade, up to a maximum of 100x.
